Convoy of loads of vans enters Ottawa to protest federal oil policies
Hundreds of semi-trailers, pickup vehicles, motors, and buses are rolling into Ottawa Tuesday to protest the oil industry’s federal government guidelines.
The foremost portion of the United We Roll Convoy set out from Red Deer, Alta., ultimate Thursday and made stops in Regina, Dryden, Thunder Bay, and Sault Ste. Marie before mustering at Arnprior, Ont., just outdoor the capital.

The protesters need the Liberal government to scrap the carbon tax and payments that overhaul environmental checks of energy projects and ban oil tankers from the northern coast of British Columbia.

Carritt stated Canada’s borders “need to be managed” by way of Canada and its citizens, not the United Nations.
