The new Datsun GO has come

Datsun has launched the new GO, and it’s aimed squarely at the youth marketplace.

The Datsun Go shot to fame when it becomes first released in South Africa specifically due to the bad press it acquired. But as they are saying “all publicity is right publicity” because the GO has remained with us and functions prominently inside the monthly new car income charts.

However, the brand new version is a much cry from the debut car that became heavily criticized for missing protection capabilities like ABS braking and airbags. The 2019 Datsun GO comes standard with ABS and twin front airbags. Datsun additionally ditched the mobile smartphone dock and replaced it with a touchscreen infotainment device with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, in addition to Bluetooth and USB connectivity – a prerequisite if you want to draw younger consumers.
